This mini-guide is intended to illustrate the features offered to directors/production company/etc. and the steps to submit film(s) to one and more festivals with open/ongoing submissions.
The Multiform allows directors/production company/etc to create their personal film submission page after following a simple one-time procedure which generates a unique page link for each film to be submitted. After the user’s email has been verified, it will be possible to view/edit the submission’s information whenever needed and apply/forward the film to one or more festivals.
The data entry does not necessarily have to be done all at once, but - since the page data is preserved between visits even on different browsers/devices - it can be finished later. The data is saved automatically even if the data is not complete and valid.
Once the data entry is completed and all entered data is valid, it will be possible to apply/forward the film to the “active” festivals (that have an open/ongoing submission call). In case of invalid or incomplete data, the system will warn the user accordingly.
When applying to a single festival submission, it may be required (depending on the needs of the respective festival) to fill out additional form fields and information. During this step the submitter will express also their consent to the festival submission’s rules, regulations and privacy policy.
The film submission’s page allows directors and production companies to have an overview of the available, upcoming and already-applied festival submissions.
Directors and production companies can submit multiple films by requesting multiple submission links.
